LACOSTE Japan Online Shop
Project Overview
We built the official Lacoste Japan online shop, powered by our QOR e-commerce & digital marketing platform. The site is seamlessly integrated with the POS system of their physical Lacoste stores, the Team Lacoste point system, as well as their fulfillment, customer service center, and internal IT systems.

Our Solution
We needed to go from start to launch in just 4 months, collaborating with Netwise for front-end development and integrating with various internal and external systems from the client.
The biggest challenge of the project was this coordination and system integration: we needed to make our system talk perfectly with their fulfillment system, build a made-to-order customer support system that matched the workflow of the customer service representatives, and allow their retail shops’ POS and point systems to interface with the EC system via our API to create a seamless an online and offline experience.
With the system in place, customers can now use and collect points on purchase in the stores, or on the e-commerce site.
Feature Spotlight

Storefinder
Powered by Google Maps, we implemented a storefinder allowing easy updating, and searching for Lacoste boutiques by location, name, type, etc.

POS Integration
We have developed an API to sync user data between the e-commerce system and the Lacoste stores. E.g. to keep points for purchases online and offline in sync.

Customer Support Admin
To allow the call-center to easily track, change or review customer transactions we have developed a customized admin section.

Task Automation
Automated image resizing and thumbnail creation from zoom image, including color swatches

Newsletter System
The online shop includes a newsletter system, fully integrated with SendGrid to efficiently send mails to their members.

Inline Editor
With the renewal of the online shop the banner layouts have become more versatile, but also more complex. Our inline editor allows staff to easily update banners directly on the page.
